This post is long overdue.... we've been swamped with post-production and a couple of corporate projects here in the studio, so here is Melissa & Matt's Same Day Edit. This was an example of our Wedding Films products, website coming soon!

We were introduced to Melissa last summer by Fournier & Melloy Photography (www.fourniermalloy.com), Brian and Pat are awesome to work with and consummate professionals! BTW, they take really nice pics too!

Let me tell you though, what an honor to be part of wedding joining two amazing people and two amazing families. (BTW, Melissa's dad is Raymond Bourque, former Boston Bruin and Hockey hall of famer!) Melissa and Matt's families are so warm, affectionate and so caring, this was so apparent all day! Melissa's maid's of honor and bride's maids reflected the same affection and fun for Melissa, being so excited for Melissa when they were getting ready at the W Hotel.

The Winter Wonderland theme came through not only in the beauty of St. Ceclilia's church, but also in the gorgeous decor at the State Room.

We were introduced to this couple just weeks before their wedding and upon meeting them new that the wedding that they were planning was going to be filled with amazing details. Having worked with Kristin of Details with Love in the past, we were very excited and also knew that this day would go off flawlessly. Being familiar with all of the locations for the wedding did provided a higher comfort level for my team and allowed us to capture incredible shots of the day.

Krissy & Joe's Lovestory

Krissy and Joe are the most fun and light hearted couple we've worked with all year! They are so in love with each other and have such a fun love story. From the way they met through to their engagement, they had such a fun story that was great to capture on tape.

We had such a great time shooting in Providence and the surrounding area, Roger Williams Park, the Carousel and Downtown.

The presentation at the wedding has received with tons of laughter and emotion. Congratulations to Krissy & Joe on your wonderful wedding!

Jennifer & Jason's Creative Session "Only Girl (In The World)" by Rihanna

This is the type of couple we love working with, fun and ready to have a great time on their wedding day! It comes through in the creative session (this is what we call our time with the bride and groom). It happens in-between their formal shots with the photographer.

We like to work with great photographers like Curtiss from www.Eloquent-Images.com because we can work our shots into the formal photography session without missing a beat for the photographer or the couple.



The day was amazing and the clouds looked like they were 100 feet above us at times.... really cool sky! Jen & Jay also picked a great location for the Formals/Creative Session: Fort Taber in New Bedford, MA

RI Wedding Group's Spring Bridal Event

This past Sunday, March 27th, 2011, The RI Wedding Group hosted it's Spring Event at the Newport Marriott, (Thanks Lisa!) to benefit the Gloria Gemma Resource Foundation. Needless to say, it was an amazing event!

Bobby Bach of Twigs Florist, the Events Director for the RIWG, did such an amazing job at spearheading and organizing the event. He donated umpteen hours of time and also went into his pocket and donated financially to this event! Thank you Bobby!

The day consisted of a huge pink fire truck (care of RIPinkTrucks.com) outside the Marriott, a pinup girl on the piano in the lobby, gorgeous table-scapes by Rentals Unlimited, live music by The X Isles Band, TEN31 Productions had a live dancing tree, a phenomenal display area by RI's premier wedding professionals and last but not least, an edgy and creative fashion show!

Helene's, Anthony's and Curl Up & Die, put together a fashion show to remember! The show opened with a dancing Tree from 1039 From tastefully sexy lingerie to stripping Firemen the show open was awesome.

Thank you to all that made this event possible and donated their time, talents and creativity.

Renée & Stephen's Feature Wedding Film

Renée is a sister of a bride that had hired us 6 years ago and when she was engaged to be married I was honored that she wanted Artistic to shoot her wedding also.

Now Renée is not your typical bride, yes she loves style and fashion, but she wanted a very different atmosphere for her wedding, and she defiantly accomplished it! She had a fun multi-venue ceremony and reception that took place in a wonderful seaside area of Warwick, RI, Buttonwoods.
